We also expect our suppliers to undertake similar assessments of their own supply chains.

Supplier Standards and Audits

All suppliers are required to comply with Paddington Cleaner standards on labour and human rights. These requirements are built into our supplier selection and onboarding processes and form part of our ongoing relationship management.

We conduct supplier audits and reviews, which may include site visits, document checks, and interviews with management and, where appropriate, workers. These audits are designed to verify that suppliers uphold labour standards, provide safe working conditions, and do not engage in any form of modern slavery. Where non-compliance is identified, we work with the supplier to agree corrective actions within a defined timeframe. If meaningful progress is not made, we may suspend or terminate the relationship.

Training and Awareness

We are committed to continually improving our approach to preventing modern slavery. This statement and our related policies and procedures are reviewed at least annually, or sooner if there are significant changes in legislation, guidance, or our operations.

As part of the annual review, we evaluate the effectiveness of our risk assessments, supplier audits, training programmes, and reporting mechanisms. Lessons learned are used to strengthen our controls and to update our expectations of suppliers and partners.
